A family residing in Muscat, Oman is seeking a qualified and experienced nanny for the care, education and English language development of their two little girls born February 2018 and December 2020.

The ideal candidate will hold childcare qualifications, have had experience working in VIP households and minimum 5 years working with children in this age group and upwards.

The family is seeking a polite, kind and flexible candidate that is a team player who will get on well with other members of staff within their home. The main duties will be to take care of their baby girl’s physical and emotional needs as well as focus on language development by creating interesting, fun and age appropriate activities.

Other duties shall include setting up the menu for the children and ensuring they are eating nutritional food, ensuring the child’s nursery is clean and tidy, taking care of her laundry, vaccination schedule and doctors appointments, packing her suitcase for travel, teaching good manners and etiquette.

The working schedule will be 6 days per week with one day off. Where possible the employer will try to ensure you have the same day off weekly however it cannot always be guaranteed, the working schedule will be from approximately 8am – 8pm daily and other staff will take over in the evening for the night shift. There will be some international travel with the family during the duration of the contract, a separate hotel room or room within their home shall be provided depending on the location they are travelling. They travel to Dubai often, mostly by car.

You will be provided a self contained accommodation within the family’s home. The salary on offer is from £1000 net per week and the start date is Approx. September- October 2021, depending on the travel restrictions in place.

Travel to Oman and visa preparation shall be paid by the family and one return flight home per year as well as 25 days paid holiday and medical insurance.
