For B2 & B5 in Germany
(4 weeks in summer)
An American family residing near Kaiserslautern, Germany, is seeking a temporary live-in nanny from 4th July for 4 weeks for their two sons aged 2 and 5. During this period their mother will be travelling overseas for work. The father will be in Germany working, however he will require support from approximately 7am – 7pm daily from Monday – Saturday with the nanny having Sunday as her day off. There may be days where the nanny finishes closer to 5pm depending on the father’s working schedule.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced, mature and responsible nanny with at least 5 years of previous experience working with children aged from 2-6 either in a private household, kindergarten or school. The candidate must be fluent in English as the family speaks English at home. A confident driver with a clean license is required, however, the nanny will be provided with a car to drive.
The duties will include helping the boys with their morning routine and getting them ready for summer camp which they will both attend during daytime hours. In the afternoons and evenings the nanny will be required to assist the father with meal preparation and entertain the boys with indoor and outdoor age-appropriate activities.
The working schedule will be Monday – Saturday up to 12 hours daily.
This is a live-in role whereby the nanny is offered her own private bedroom and bathroom within the family’s home.
The salary on offer starts from £800 net per week and the family will pay for the return flight for the nanny to join them in Germany from wherever she is residing currently. They are ready to interview potential candidates via video call ASAP.
