A busy VIP client of Great British Nannies is seeking an experienced and educated live-out nanny with a degree in childcare and MNT to care for their girl who will be 4 next month and baby girl due in December 2024. The family live in Istanbul, Turkey and provide a room, bathroom and kitchenette in a separate apartment (the other rooms are used for the family’s storage) which is a 2-minute walk to their home.
The ideal candidate will be educated in childcare to degree level and speak English as a native speaker as they would like their child to learn English through age-appropriate activities and games. They would also like the candidate to be experienced with infants and preferably have maternity nurse training or be willing to carry it out prior to December. An individual who is active, a strong swimmer and who is proactive and will be a positive influence on their children. Along with a keen interest in arts and crafts with a creative side to them. Someone that genuinely loves their role as a nanny and is seeking a long-term fulfilling role.
Whilst the family have some staff, a housekeeper and driver. They are very family orientated and will be welcoming towards the successful candidate. They have had a lovely nanny with them for the past two years who had to leave due to personal reasons. A driving license is not required, although is preferred.
The working days are Monday – Saturday and the hours will be 8 am – 9 pm with Sundays as a day off. An in date pediatric First Aid, enhanced DBS certificate and verifiable recent and contactable references will be required. The interview process will be in stages, first with the family’s PA, then the parents on separate video calls. If these are successful you will be invited for an in-person interview without the child to begin with. The salary on offer is £1500 net per week depending on qualifications and experience. The start date is ASAP.
Requirements
At least 5 years’ experience working with a similar age-group
Enhanced DBS background check in date
First Aid certificate
Contactable references (minimum 3)
Educated in childcare and maternity nursing
