Thinking about nannying abroad?

July, 2014

Living and working in Moscow is one of the best things I have ever done. After working abroad for many years I decided living in Moscow as a Nanny/Governess would be an exciting new challenge for me. It is nothing like I expected and I can happily say I now think of this fabulous city as my current home.

Overseas nannying is becoming a very popular career choice for nannies, governesses and tutors.

I have met so many friends out here in Moscow and the expat community is very sociable. It doesn’t matter what days off you have, there’s always something to do and people to have fun with.

Moscow is very exciting and has a lot to offer, great restaurants and bars, beautiful parks with things to do in all seasons, fantastic shopping areas or historic tourist sites you may want to visit.

Being a Governess and teaching English here is very rewarding, everyone wants to learn and perfect their English and are very open to the opportunity to do so. The Russian families that you work for will welcome you to their home and to join their family. Working with the children can be so much fun and you get to see the children you bond with learn and grow with the lessons and activities you do together.

As a Governess we get to travel to some of the most amazing locations and share the families holiday experiences. There is always something fun happening.

Moving to Moscow to become a Governess was a job I considered to be short term but I am now very settled and happy and about to start my 3rd year here.  I have made friends and memories I am sure will stay with me for a long time.

If anyone is considering taking this wonderful opportunity to become a Nanny/Governess or Tutor in Moscow, I would say do it, you have so much to gain and you won’t regret it.

New adventures that will enhance your CV

All the best on your new adventure, you won’t regret it!
