A family, well recommended to us, is seeking a Manny for after-school care of their two sons aged 6 and 9. The family lives in the SE24 area. The closest tube station is Brixton, a 10 minute bus ride away from the family’s home. The overground stations are Herne Hill and North Dulwich, both are very close to their home. The children have had two long-term nannies in the past and had very positive experience with them.
The schedule is from Monday to Thursday, 2.30pm to 6.30pm. Hourly rate is £12-£15 net depending on experience.
The boys are very active and energetic. They love sports, hockey, swimming, reading and the youngest also enjoys arts and crafts. They also attend cubs and beavers.
The ideal candidate will be energetic with genuine love for children, who enjoys working with boys of their age. The mother would like somebody that isn’t afraid to apply discipline, a firm but fair approach is preferred. The working hours may be increased over school holidays when the family isn’t travelling themselves.
The main duties shall be: to arrive at their home for 2.30, prepare snacks for the boys and perhaps put a wash on, pick them up from school at 3.15, then take them home to feed, assist with their homework and have fun.
The start date is ASAP and the family is ready to start interviewing.
