A family based in Enfield town, London is seeking a part time, live-out nanny for their two daughters aged 4 and 18 months. They family is seeking a warm, loving, organised nanny who is experienced working with toddlers and primary school aged children as well as supporting and working alongside busy parents.

The working hours are Tuesday – Friday from 12.30 pm – 6.30pm (24 hours weekly), with some occasional baby sitting in the evenings and school holidays. The focus of this role is to provide a loving and nurturing environment for the children, ensuring their routine is well maintained, they feel loved and secure, engage, and play in age-appropriate activities and have lots of fun as well as ensuring their play area and around the home is kept clean and tidy after play and eating. The parents are very much on board with the girls learning to pick up after themselves and help, in fact their eldest daughter already sees herself as a little helper and enjoys helping around the home and in the kitchen.

They are a close family who value routine, good manners, helping each other and working hard. The girls are well behaved, get on well with each other and are used to having people look after them when the parents are working. Private parking is offered, whilst driving is not essential for the role it is preferred (with own car, clean driving license and ISOFIX) as there may be a lot of walking involved due to the location of the school and playgroup. They have a playroom in their home, children’s play area in the back garden and a lovely park at the end of their road for you to enjoy indoor and outdoor activities.

The day will start by picking their youngest daughter up from Nursery in Bush Hill Park by 1pm, bringing her home and putting her down for her afternoon nap, whilst preparing a simple healthy meal for the children. During this time, you will also be taking care of the children’s laundry. After her nap you will go with their youngest to pick their eldest daughter up from school communicate with the school/nursery and feedback to the parents, feed them dinner, play some fun and engaging activities, and ensure they feel loved and secure until Mummy and Daddy finish work. The schedule may vary slightly when their eldest daughter starts any after school clubs.

Under usual circumstances the parents work in the city, however, are mostly working from home currently. They do not wish to interrupt the nanny and the children during their working hours and very much respect that during this time the nanny is in charge, and they want her to feel confident in her role even when the parents are in proximity.
