1. Accuracy of Information & Confidentiality
By completing this registration form, you confirm that all information you provide to GB Nannies Ltd (“the Agency”) is true and accurate to the best of your knowledge.
Any information shared with you by the Agency about a potential employer is confidential and must not be shared with any third party.
You give your consent for the Agency to process and share your personal information with potential employers only for the purpose of seeking suitable employment opportunities for you.
2. Use of Information & Liability
The Agency relies on the information you provide and cannot be held responsible for any inaccuracies or omissions in your application or supporting documents.
3. Agency Introduction & Direct Engagement
GB Nannies Ltd acts as an introduction agency and does not employ candidates directly.
If you are introduced to a family or client by the Agency, you agree not to enter into an employment or service agreement with that client without informing the Agency.
If a client offers you a contract directly, you must notify the Agency promptly and provide a copy of the offer.
If you fail to do so, the Agency may remove you from its candidate register and may decline to represent you for future roles.
4. Employment Agreements & Responsibility
It is your responsibility to decide whether a role and its terms are suitable for you.
The Agency is not responsible for any disputes or disagreements that arise between you and a client once an employment agreement has been signed.
Where appropriate, the Agency may provide a template employment agreement, which both you and the client are responsible for reviewing and amending as needed.
5. Candidate Profiles & Internal Information
This registration form is used to create a professional candidate profile that the Agency presents to potential employers.
Your profile will only be shared with families after discussing the role with you and receiving your agreement.
Some information collected is for the Agency’s internal use only and will not be shared with potential employers without your consent or until later stages of the recruitment process.
6. Documents, References & Due Diligence
Due to the nature of childcare recruitment, the Agency is required to carry out appropriate background checks.
You may be asked to provide copies of documents such as:
- identification
- right-to-work documentation
- driving licence
- first aid certificates
- police or background checks
- qualification certificates
You may also be asked to provide contact details for previous employers, confirming that you have their permission to share these details.
References are used solely to assess your suitability for employment and will not be used for marketing purposes. Reference information will only be shared with a potential employer with the referee’s consent.
7. Data Storage & Your Rights (UK GDPR)
Your personal data will be stored securely in the Agency’s encrypted database for up to 36 months from the date you submit this form.
After this period, your data will be automatically deleted unless you give consent for it to be retained.
You have the right at any time to:
- request access to your data
- request correction of your data
- request deletion of your data
