Job Description
A warm, welcoming and highly supportive family based on Sloane Street are seeking an exceptional live-out nanny for their delightful 18-month-old little boy. This is a fantastic opportunity for a truly developmentally focused nanny to join a well-staffed household where collaboration, communication and positive energy are genuinely valued.
The family are expecting a new baby in June; however, a maternity nurse is already in place, along with evening babysitters, a long-term weekend nanny, housekeepers and drivers. As such, this role will remain fully focused on the care, education and development of the toddler and at around the time the baby turns 8-9 months the nanny will take care of both children in a shared care capacity with the mother. The boy will be starting nursery in September 2026.
The ideal candidate will be confident in a shared-care environment, proactive in planning age-appropriate activities and passionate about supporting early years development both at home and out and about. Someone naturally upbeat, forward-thinking and an excellent communicator will thrive in this role.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Sole charge and shared care of the 18-month-old boy
- Planning and delivering stimulating, age-appropriate activities
- Supporting developmental milestones and learning through play
- Maintaining established routines and introducing new, positive structure
- Preparing simple, nutritious meals and snacks for the child
- Encouraging outdoor activities, classes and social engagement
- Travelling with the family on occasion (essential)
Working hours:
Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 7:00pm

Sloane Street, London (live-out)
Salary:
From £55,000 gross per annum, dependent on experience and qualifications
Start date:
Immediate, following a successful interview and paid trial period
Essential requirements:
- Enhanced DBS check registered on the update service
- Minimum of three contactable previous employer references
- Valid Paediatric First Aid certificate
- Right to work in the UK
- Available to start immediately
- Happy to travel with the family when required
