Job Description
A welcoming family based in Jumeirah Bay, Dubai is seeking an educated, qualified, and experienced live-in nanny to care for and support the development of their 10-month-old baby boy.
The family already employs a night nanny from 9:00 pm – 9:00 am and is now looking for a daily nanny to work from 9:00 am – 9:00 pm, 6 days per week.
The ideal candidate will be confident caring for babies and toddlers, with a naturally nurturing, observant, and proactive approach. The nanny should be experienced in planning fun, engaging, and educational age-appropriate activities both inside and outside the home, while supporting developmental milestones and maintaining a structured routine.
The family is looking for someone adaptable, communicative, and able to work collaboratively with hands-on parents to create a positive and respectful environment for their son. A nanny who enjoys outdoor activities, nature, and creative play ideas will be highly appreciated, as the child is encouraged to spend time outdoors several times each day.
The family speaks English and therefore requires an English-speaking nanny. They also have one cat in the home.
The role includes preparing healthy meals for the child as he begins exploring solid foods. The family would also appreciate a candidate willing to prepare nutritious meals for the parents, although this is not essential.
This is a childcare-focused role only. Responsibilities include:
• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the child’s nursery
• Children’s laundry and wardrobe management
• Bath and bedtime routines
• Planning activities, games, and developmental play
• Supporting the child through various developmental stages
The family is seeking a long-term nanny and will initially offer a one-year contract. Candidates should only apply if they are genuinely seeking a long-term position.
Interviews will begin ASAP via video call. Selected candidates will be invited to complete a paid trial week before a long-term offer is made.
The family will cover all relocation expenses, including:
• Working visa
• Flights at the start and end of the contract
• One return flight home per contract year during annual leave
The nanny will also be required to travel regularly with the family, so a candidate who enjoys travel, is flexible, and is confident with packing and organising for trips is preferred.
Childcare qualifications or a degree in childcare/early years education is highly desirable.
Package:
• Salary: £6000 net per month depending on experience and qualifications
• Working schedule: 6 days per week, 12 hours per day
• Live-in accommodation provided with private room and en-suite bathroom
• Flights and travel expenses covered when travelling with the family
• Supportive working environment
• 30 days paid holiday per year
• Medical insurance
Requirements:
• Qualified and experienced English-speaking live-in nanny
• Minimum 5 years’ experience working with babies/toddlers
• Nurturing, organised, flexible, and professional
• Comfortable with regular international travel
• Experienced travelling with babies and packing/organising for travel
• Clear enhanced DBS check
• Paediatric First Aid certificate (within the last 12 months preferred)
• Excellent and contactable references (minimum of 3)
• Available to start July 2026
