GBN492 – Full-Time Nanny – Private Family
Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (expat residential compound)
Start Date: ASAP
A British expat family in Riyadh is seeking an experienced, confident, and caring nanny for their 4-year-old daughter. The role suits someone who can provide structure, engaging activities, and reliable support within a relaxed family environment.
This is ideally a live-in role (private bedroom and bathroom provided). The family currently has a live-out apartment available but plans to move into a house where live-in accommodation will be provided. Alternative accommodation can be considered at the candidate’s own expense.
The family would value a sociable nanny who is happy to engage with the expat community, arrange playdates, and support their daughter in building friendships. Compound facilities include a pool, gym, and social areas.
Duties & Responsibilities
Childcare
• Morning and school preparation
• Afternoon/evening care, including meals and bedtime
• Organising play, activities, and playdates
• School drop-offs and pick-ups (car provided)
Household Support
• Light tidying and organisation
• Grocery shopping
• Preparing meals for the child and weekday family dinners
• Liaising with external cleaners
General Support
• Running errands
• Supporting family routines
• Flexibility with family schedule and occasional travel
About the Child
• Imaginative, gentle, and sociable
• Enjoys role-play, animals, music, and swimming
Routine:
• School until approx. 1pm
• Bedtime around 7pm
Working Schedule
• Up to 60 hours per week (Sunday–Thursday)
• Flexibility required
Candidate Requirements
• Proven childcare/nanny experience
• Warm, organised, and proactive
• Sociable and comfortable arranging playdates
• Confident driver – must be happy driving in Saudi Arabia
• Car provided for work and personal use
• Fluent English
Package
• £4,000 net per month
• Bonus or travel allowance may be considered
• Live-in accommodation provided
• Visa and flights included (one return per year)
• 30 days paid holiday (aligned with family travel)
• Meals on duty
• Access to compound facilities
Travel
• Occasional travel may be required
