A warm and supportive family based in Riyadh is seeking a qualified and experienced SEN nanny or family support professional to assist with the care and development of their 5-year-old son with suspected ADHD. This is a long-term opportunity for a compassionate, knowledgeable, and proactive candidate who can provide guidance, structure, and emotional support to both the child and his parents.
The role will focus on helping establish consistent routines, boundaries, and strategies to support emotional regulation and day-to-day behaviour management within the home. The successful candidate will work closely with the parents, particularly the mother, offering hands-on support, practical advice, and reassurance while helping create a calm, structured, and positive environment for the child to thrive in.
Daily responsibilities will include supporting morning and evening routines, encouraging positive behaviour and independence, planning engaging age-appropriate activities, and assisting the family in implementing strategies to manage dysregulated emotions. The nanny will also help develop structure around mealtimes, play, learning, and transitions throughout the day while acting as a supportive and steady presence within the household.
The family is looking for someone patient, calm, organised, and experienced in supporting young children with additional emotional or behavioural needs.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ADHD and emotional regulation strategies, be confident guiding parents in implementing routines and boundaries, and possess a nurturing yet professional approach. Previous SEN experience is essential, and candidates with backgrounds in childcare, psychology, behavioural support, or early years education will be highly regarded. Start date June/July. Apply now.
Requirements
• Fluent English speaker
• Minimum 5 years’ professional childcare or SEN experience
• Experience supporting children with ADHD or similar behavioural needs essential
• Childcare, SEN, psychology, or education qualifications preferred
• Confident supporting parents with structure and routine implementation
• Enhanced DBS and Paediatric First Aid
• Excellent references

Package
• £5,000 net per month
• Live-out accommodation provided close to the family home
• 5-day working week, up to 12 hours per day
