GBN 466 – Rota nanny, Monaco, 70,000 Euros net per annum, start date end of August 2025
A family residing in Monaco is seeking an experienced, qualified, and emotionally mature rota nanny for the care and education of their three children, aged G14, B11, G9 and baby aged 10 months. The mother is seeking someone who can support her children with their education, manners and etiquette and support her with assisting with a firm but fair approach to discipline. They are at the ages where they are testing the boundaries, so someone that can assist with supporting them to understand the limits whilst providing them the tools to be independent and make good choices to support in continuing their development in becoming polite, well-rounded individuals. The ideal candidate will be a team player and someone who want to support the overall running of the household. A clean and tidy individual who ensure the children’s areas are maintained, whether that be putting their laundry where it belongs, wardrobe management/clearing the table after dinner and showing the children how to do these things for themselves. The right candidate will be able to tell the children stories, be culturally aware and also have knowledge of what is trending and interesting topics of conversation for children of their age groups.They speak both English, Spanish and French within their household. The children have been learning French since relocating to Monaco in 2023 from the USA.

The ideal candidate will be a kind, caring and mature individual who has had at least 5 years of experience working as a nanny in private fully staffed households and is comfortable working with these age groups. Someone who is seeking a long-term role and wants to be in Europe long term and support the education of their charges is important. Along with a good sense of humour. The family provide the nanny a shared 2-bedroom apartment with their other nanny close by to their home. Whilst full flexibility is needed whilst on shift in case of proxy-parenting or travelling, you will usually have you own space at the end of a shift.

The family has a nanny for the baby aged 10 months. However, on the nanny’s days off you would be required to offer support with the baby. Therefore, some experience with babies would be preferred.

The working pattern will be 7 days on/off, these will be daytime working hours as required for the family unless the parents are travelling or you are needed during the night. However, you will be required to be available at all times, during your shift.
A driver is not necessary for the role; however, a car can be provided if you do have a driving license and are confident with driving. The candidate must have an EU passport in order for the family to employ you. The successful candidate must be discreet and keep the family matters in complete confidence.

Their eldest daughter is a kind, mature and outgoing girl. She loves to dance and swim, likes quite ‘girly’ things and is extremely close to her mother.

Their son, aged 9 is a sweet and sensitive boy, he loves sports, especially football and has lots of friends.

Their youngest daughter is an outgoing, funny, and theatrical character. She is very loving.

The start date for this role is at the end of August 2025, however the family is ready to interview and trial candidates to ensure they make the right decision and find a person who will fit in with them on a long-term basis. The salary 70,000 Euros net per annum.

Requirements:
EU passport holder
Degree/childcare qualifications
Confident in supporting middle school education
Minimum 5 years of professional experience
First Aid Certificate (in date)
Excellent contactable recent working references
Police check/DBS clear

Package:
Live-in or live-out accommodation provided
70,000 EUROS per annum (paid equally over 12 months)
Long – term permanent contract
Car for use whilst on/off duty
Return flights or train fare to your location once per month is offered, you are welcome to stay at the apartment provided during your off time or however you decide.
