Job Description

GBN499 – Temporary Live-in SEN Nanny
Europe, USA & International Travel | 10 June – 21 July | Competitive Salary DOE

A welcoming family is seeking a qualified and experienced temporary live-in SEN nanny to support the care and development of their 5-year-old son with ADHD during the summer holidays. This is a fully staffed, temporary role suited to a kind, energetic, and proactive nanny who is confident supporting children with additional needs and enjoys working as part of a collaborative team while travelling with the family throughout Europe and the USA.

The role will involve supporting the child’s daily routines, emotional regulation, and overall development while working closely alongside parents and therapists to ensure consistency and structure throughout the summer. The nanny will plan engaging educational, creative, and physical activities, encourage positive behaviour and independence, and help create a calm, stimulating environment where he can thrive. Additional duties include assisting with hygiene and bedtime routines, maintaining the child’s room and wardrobe, and accompanying the family on international travel throughout the contract period.

The little boy is active, curious, and enjoys tennis, swimming, judo, arts and crafts, as well as cars and trains, so the family would love to find a nanny who is creative, hands-on, and enjoys engaging children through both play and learning experiences. He will be attending summer camp during the day on weekdays.

The ideal candidate will be nurturing yet confident in setting appropriate boundaries, highly organised, flexible, and genuinely passionate about child development and SEN support. Experience with ADHD is essential, and additional experience or qualifications in ABA, speech and language, OT, physio, or early years education would be highly valued.

• SEN/ADHD experience essential
